Portland Road and Driveway Acquisition
Ash Creek assisted CalPortland's acquisition of a 4.5-acre reclaimed former gravel pit for expansion of their adjacent operations. Recognized environmental conditions (RECs) related to undocumented fill placement and a data gap related to possible methane occurrence were identified. The Phase II ESA included shallow and deep soil hollow auger soil borings, depth-discrete groundwater sampling, and methane screening. Building Material Center Phase I and II ESA
Ash Creek completed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) of an approximately 1.62-acre lumber yard and building materials store. The prospective purchaser completed a Phase II ESA to provide better assurance that there were no RECs. The Phase II ESA included a geophysical survey around a former structure, surface and subsurface soil sampling, and groundwater sampling. Read More>

New Mercy Corps Headquarters
Ash Creek completed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), a Phase I ESA update, and geophysical survey for the historic Skidmore Fountain Building in Old Town Portland. Ash Creek was later retained by Walsh Construction for geotechnical services during construction of the new Mercy Corps Headquarters. Geotechnical services completed for the project included geologic and geotechnical engineering evaluation and also documenting interior micro-pile installation. Read More > |
